We are now looking for a talented Technical Consultant to join our team in Hasselt. In this role you will be an integral member of our consulting team to provide expertise to our clients within our fast-paced and growing company. 

Requirements

What you will do: 

  • As a valued member of the technical consulting team, you will work directly on client accounts alongside the product and engineering teams.  
  • Configure our diverse solutions, onboard clients, create reports and dashboards, participate in data integration projects, and contribute to advanced analytics initiatives. 
  • Provide ongoing technical support and solution training to our clients across EMEA. 
  • Collaborate closely with our global analytics team to maintain, optimize, and extend our existing analytics infrastructure. 

You should have 

  • Confidence in articulating, defending, and discussing ideas and concepts, both internally and externally. 
  • Experience in constructing tailored reports using Power BI or a similar Business Intelligence (BI) tool and expertise in crafting SQL queries.

  • Fluency in English and German.
  • A strong work ethic. 
  • A genuine passion for sports. 

Great if you have 

  • Proven work experience in professional sports. 
  • Proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.

  • Hands-on experience handling substantial datasets through API, Python, or R. 
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles. 
  • Experience navigating relational databases.

About the Positions:

What to Expect:

If successful, you’ll be stationed near one of our regional offices, collaborating closely with our full-time Regional Sales Managers. A typical week will involve approximately 15-18 hours of coaching and a minimum of 20 hours of office-based tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

Challenger Sports Corporation is committed to supporting our trainees and interns. We cover upfront visa expenses, including flight costs to and from the USA, as well as travel insurance. Additionally, we provide a weekly stipend, approximately $300 after deductions, directly deposited into your bank account. Accommodation, transportation in the form of rental cars, and meals are provided by local host families. You’ll also receive a coaching kit valued at over $400, along with a comprehensive curriculum to aid in implementing our diverse camp and clinic programs.

Requirements:

For the 12-month Internship:

  • Currently enrolled in university or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) related to our business field.

For the 18-month Traineeship:

  • Possess a relevant degree with one year of related experience OR
  • Without a degree, have at least five years of relevant experience.

When Positions Start:

Positions are available to start in the spring (February through April), summer (July 1st), or autumn (August or September).

Contract: Work available in the May half-term and Summer school holidays
Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Summary of Position:

The role of an Athletics Coach is to deliver outstanding, structured athletics sessions to the children attending our academies, usually between the ages of 7 and 14. As well as leading sessions, coaches contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional and social care offered by Ultimate Sports Academies. Our coaches have a pastoral role as the leader of a group of children on camp, with the focus being on maintaining welfare and providing high quality care.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver excellent, energetic coaching sessions where all children can develop their skills, be challenged and have fun.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop and progress sessions for varying ages and abilities.
• Provide challenging content in a safe learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with children and their parents/guardians if required.
• Analyse performance and suggest areas of improvement.
• Supervise and engage with the children outside of session times.
• Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.
• Show high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism, acting as a suitable role model for the children.

Essential Requirements:

• Have an excellent working knowledge of all aspects of athletics – technical, tactical and physical.
• Good organisation and communication skills. Candidates must be confident in their ability to lead a group of children and not shy away from responsibility.

• Experience taking sole charge of a group of children.
• Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 hour or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification.

Candidates should be of a sufficient level to pass the ARC swim test including the following: This includes a 300-yard swim using front crawl or breaststroke, a 2-minute tread using legs only and the ability to retrieve a 10-lb dive weight from 7 ft deep, surface and swim 20 yds with the weight, using legs only and exit the pool without using a ladder within 100 seconds.

Lifeguard Qualification is not essential you can be trained at camp however any UK certification is a bonus for some camps. Individuals should be confident swimmers overall.
